The Leon H. Sullivan Charitable Trust (Trust), formerly known as the Zion Non-Profit Charitable Trust, is a 501c3 organization and the first Sullivan entity created. The primary value of the Trust in the 10-36 Plan was to demonstrate the principle of charity before profit. Founded in 1966 the Trust shines as a beacon of hope, stands as a tower of strength and serves as a source of pride for the Progress Movement. For over 40 years the Trust has provided a variety of social services, and serves as an active partner in economic development projects.

Rev. Leon H. Sullivan was born in Charleston, West Virginia on October 16, 1922.
